MALLEE RISING 137 CAMPBELL STREET SWAN HILL, VIC, 3585 AUSTRALIA
Fresh back from the inaugural ESHIP Summit in Kansas City, as one of 430 international delegates (and one of only two guests invited from Australia), Kerry Anderson is fired up about entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Not only did this Aussie girl from the bush get to tell America that its economic development model is official dead, she has challenged assumptions that density of population is crucial to creating an effective ecosystem.
As part of the Mallee Business Festival in Swan Hill (one of her favourite places to visit), Kerry will share her insights on how rural and regional communities can foster a collaborative culture that celebrates and encourages entrepreneurship. More importantly, she will explain why this is important and how community leaders, educators and the business sector in Swan Hill can help make it happen.
