Innovation melbourne tour


Friday is about innovation hubs, cross collaborations and hearing from outstanding startups and scaleups about their projects. 

There are 8 stops on the schedule for the Innovation Melbourne tour. You will hear and speak with key coworking leaders, small and large businesses, startups and scaleups from places like Stone & Chalk, Hub Australia, Nous House, Creative Cubes, Inspire9, Telstra and many more.

At each stop we will also hear from leaders are doing amazing work expanding their businesses nationally and across the globe. Topics include: Fintech, AgTech, MedTech, Blockchain, Proptech and AI. There is only one intimate group taking part in this program and will include the coworking leaders, government and corporate and other notable scaleups.

There is also a larger opening event at Stone & Chalk in the morning and a closing drinks event in Cremorne. 5:30 - 8:30pm - VIP drinks and nibbles (particularly for those staying overnight for the Saturday event)

Scaling up from Melbourne and Victoria to

8:00am Intimate breakfast for the early birds

9:00am Kick Off at LaunchPad Centre in Cremorne (Melbourne’s leading multisite collaborative space for scale-ups). Formalities and set up from Government and Taylor Tran, followed by key note presentation from David Thomas (Chief, LaunchPad) on The Future of Work.

10:00am Pannel Discussion with Katherine Healthcote (Austrade) and global coworking spaces (TBC) on Global Expansion and Scaling Up.

11:00am BREAK

11:30am three breakout up-skilling sessions for topics on your choice. Real Estate, Blockchain, Branding. Don’t worry if you wanted to go to them all. There’ll be a highlights summary presentation, networking opportunities and information packs to ensure you don’t miss anything. Hear from experts like Bryan Froud, Senior Occupancy Planner at JLL Commercial Real Estate, Karen Cohen, General Manager Blockchain Centre, Samuelson Appau, Branding Expert from RMIT.

12:30 LUNCH

1:30pm - Panel: consolidation of insights, startup learnings, community leadership learnings, strategies, business models, business development. Taylor Tran (moderator), Nick Teulon (startup founder), Amee Miranda (Coworking Community Manager), TBC, (VC Investor), TBC (Angel Investor), TBC (Government Leader)

2:30pm - 4:30pm 1 minute pitches and the speed dating with Investors, Government, Corporate. Approximately 12 tables 10 minute rotation. This is an opportunity for startups, scaleups, innovation leaders and investors, corporate and coworking leaders alike to connect, pitch, advise and do deals.

4:30pm - Closing Remarks and Networking Cocktails

7:00pm - VIP dinner (particularly for those staying overnight to go to Eynesbury the next day

    A group of participants from Saturday will be taken on a bus ride to Eynesbury. A beautiful country estate to learn about agtech, co-farming and related innovations.
